Mark T. Wiltz
Markaylen Wiltz is a strategic leader, coalition-builder, and relentless advocate for human dignity and public service. Rooted in his Louisiana upbringing and shaped by years inside both government and national movements, Mark operates at the intersection of policy, culture, and conviction.
Raised in Youngsville, Louisiana by his mother — who had him at just sixteen — and his grandparents, Mark’s story is one of resilience and gratitude. He often says that everything he’s accomplished traces back to their love, their faith, and the lessons of small-town life: work hard, keep your word, and don’t forget where you came from.
Mark’s journey into public service began while he was still a student at Nicholls State University. In 2019, he was hired by Louisiana State Senator Mike Fesi as his legislative assistant, where he managed direct office operations and learned firsthand how good policy is built — not from ideology, but from people and purpose. That experience lit a fire that would define his career.
Mark brought that same passion for service to Washington, D.C., joining the office of U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D., where he supported constituent services and legislative outreach. His skill for organization and communication led him to the 2024 Donald J. Trump Presidential Campaign, where he advanced and coordinated high-level campaign travel and events across the country. Following the election, he was appointed to the 60th Presidential Inaugural Committee, leading advance operations for the Second Family — designing, organizing, and executing national inauguration events.
He later joined the Executive Office of the Vice President of the United States, serving in the Office of the Second Lady, where he contributed to foreign engagement, public events, and strategic outreach during a defining period in national life. These experiences shaped his leadership style: disciplined, relational, and mission-driven — always rooted in service to others.
Today, Mark serves as Director of Government Affairs at Live Action, one of the nation’s leading pro-life organizations. He leads federal strategy and coalition coordination to permanently end taxpayer funding of the abortion industry and strengthen a culture that protects the most vulnerable. He’s recognized for his ability to bring organizations, lawmakers, and movement leaders into alignment — transforming conviction into coordinated, results-driven action.
Outside of his professional work, Mark remains deeply engaged in the Washington, D.C. community. He is an active member of the Rotary Club and a parishioner at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church on Capitol Hill, where his faith continues to anchor his sense of mission and service.
Mark is engaged to Ann Thomas, Esq., a Washington, D.C. attorney and former prosecutor who now practices family law.
At the core of Mark’s work is a simple conviction: Every human life has worth — and public leadership must honor that truth.
This is not just his career. It is his calling. And the mission continues.
